Overview

Fragrance Walk and the Botany of Witchcraft is a botanical tour of the various herbs assosiated with witchcraft and witches—the original healers of our society before the advent of modern medicine. The walk explores man’s relationship to magic and it’s oral history. In between the walk we shall sample many hidden fragrances hiding in leaves and flowers of Stanley Park.

These walks are one of many designed to erase tree blindness and introduce B.C.’s botany.

We acknowledge that your tour takes place within the unceded, ancestral territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations

We end the walk at historic Beaver Lake, which was first formed during the receding of Ice Age. From here, you can trace your footsteps back to the starting point should you need to get back to parking or transit
