More than food..

A couple of weeks ago, we took this Chinatown food tour. There was very little Chinese food but it was OK because our guide, Arsham knew where to find a variety of good eats in that neighborhood. Even more than the food, we thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with Arsham. We appreciated his vast knowledge as a lifelong resident, and learned a lot about Vancouver, past and present.

Within a few blocks of walking in the Richmond-Brighouse neighborhood, this tour visits three restaurants that showcase the dumplings and other cusine of three different regions of China. The food at each location was excellent with generous portions of multiple dishes. Our guide, David, was knowledgable and personanle, and did an excellent job explaining the significant aspects of each cuisine. We heartily recommend this tour for anyone that enjoys eating!

Our first time at the restaurant

I loved it, it was so fun. My Mum and I were led into the restaurant by our waiter. We were given a menu at the front and ordered there. We were led to the bathroom to wash our hands and then were taken into the totally dark restaurant. My Mum ordered the surprise and I ordered the chicken. I paid for the 3 course online and it was so good. Some foodies are saying that the food was meh, but I didn't think so. I pretty much felt for my food on my plate and forked it after. It was really good. The cheesecake that I received was really yummy. We could hear a couple of tables being led into the space. We had to call out to our waiter whenever we finished the courses. We were taken to the bar area when we were finished our supper and where we paid for the extras. I would definitely do Dark Table again.

Turnt All The Way Up

Let me start by saying this was my second time in a helicopter. From the time we got to the location, we were greeted gracefully by this lady named Annika. I don't remember the other lady's name unfortunately, but she was amazing as well.I'm very wholesome and down to earth people. From there we signed our waivers and proceeded to meet our pilots and co-pilots. Kyle and Ralph, let me tell you, these two pilots were such a vibe. It was unbelievable, down to earth, funny as hell.Relatable, I'm really happy that we had them as our pilots for this tour. The things that we did in the sky, the things we talked about, the information session that they gave us was unbelievable. Just a bunch of city boys from Toronto.I tell you, the next time I'm in Vancouver, I'll definitely be going back for another helicopter ride because this place was absolutely fire, breathtaking views, natural waterfalls, glacier water, seeing the World War II bomber – it's unmatched, something I've never done before, completely out of sight of my comfort zone.At some point I thought I was in Top Gun. If you're on the fence about booking this particular situation, it's once in a lifetime. Go rogue, have fun, do the unthinkable within the discretion of your safety? Of course. Definitely coming back here, I have to. It's a must.I appreciate you, Kyle and Ralph for all the information and the love and the hospitality that you guys gave us. Your employer is lucky to have you guys as pilots and doing God's work.Sky Helicopter 🚁 you guys got it I will be back soon enough.

Fraser Valley Wine Tours

My husband & I were picked up in a luxury vehicle by Daniel our driver.He was very courteous & informative of the area on the way to The Fraser Valley.We stopped at 3 winery’s & at the 1st one we shared a delicious charcuterie platter while we tasted our beautiful wine which were both free as it was included in the tour price.The next 2 winery’s we visited we sampled 5 different wines of our choice which we paid for.I must say the wine we sampled on the day was very enjoyable & we had a very relaxing day.Daniel also included a couple of unscheduled photo stops.I would highly recommended this tour.
