I visited with my kids for a day’s activity, we had a good experience with modern and contemporary art. They had an art/paper activity for the kids on the 3rd floor which was memorable. All age groups are welcome to be creative here and the staff/ volunteers were super helpful. The exhibits had modern art creations along with beautiful paintings of First Nation, landscapes in vivid colours. There was a family tour at 2:00 to educate us on Emily Carr a renown artist from Canada. The place if for anyone who appreciates art and a must visit if you are in Vancouver.

What a great trip! Took us longer than 4 hours as we stopped so many times to check out the sites and wonderful viewing spots. We loved hearing the tour guides and quiz questions, they were a bit corny but definitely entertaining and fun….even for my 10 year old son. We would recommend Tripvia for sure!

Overall the experience was really good. Got to see many different places and experience some incredible views! Our guide was quite knowledgeable and gave an extensive overview of Vancouver history. We loved FlyOver Canada, it’s a must see! The only negative I have to say is that: I was told by Cool Vancouver that we would be picked up and dropped off at our hotel. That was not the case, we were picked up at our hotel and had to walk back to our hotel after our last stop.

For convenience, since I was with elderly adults, we hired tours with Dominio Tours, and it was much easier, as they pick you up at the hotel and return you there. Without a doubt, what I like the most is nature, parks, lakes, and waterfalls.

This is an ok tour. Make sure to take breaks and explore the areas that it brings you to, like Canada Place or a restaurant in Gas Town. The last location is in a seedy part of town that some people may be uncomfortable with.

Affordable and flexible, but use caution in this part of town. Some areas are not safe.
You can read the tour if you don’t have headphones or the city is too late. You can start at any point in the tour and skip any stops you don’t want to visit. I learned this after following the Google navigation to blood alley which was unremarkable except that we found ourselves in a graffiti covered and strangely vacant alley that felt unsafe. (Gastown is located in a bad area of town and it is easy to find yourself on a street filled with people using drugs and living on the street where unstable people walk around yelling obscenities. Wish is known this sooner, but travel bloggers fail to include this tidbit) We were more selective of the places we visited after that. However the narration was interesting and informative and very affordable.

Took the tour with my mom and sister and had a blast! Gabi was our host and she was super friendly and warm. It was super cool to visit so many studios. Unfortunately there weren't that many artists there, but the ones we saw were really neat. The only reason why I'm not giving 5 stars is that my mom isn't the most athletic and she's elderly, so it was a bit tough going up the stairs, but thankfully there were lots of places to sit down! Definitely gonna be coming back to enjoy some of the summer things they have planned in their outdoor patio!
